We will be closed on Anzac Day 25th April 2018
The theme for the month of April is “D.I.Y!”
In today’s age of convenience and mass consumption, we don’t need to think about what we discard and the waste we accumulate, if we don’t want to. But here at Nubo, we care about the world we live in. We care about the children’s future. Therefore we want to explore innovative ways of turning trash into treasure! Want to join us? Let’s learn to recycle together in a playful and creative way!
We have some new making workshops starting this month where little ones and parents can create pressed petal frames, some weaving art, and poppy bookmarks for Anzac Day. Our active educator, Desire, will also teach kiddies some fun jump rope activities using our own easy-to-make recycled jump rope! We have two new educators joining us this month. Please share a warm welcome to the lovely Pearl and Gemma! Pearl will show you how to create cute friends out of cardboard rolls, key rings using found objects, and walk you through the art of paper making! Gemma will lead the way in drama using cardboard props in ways you might not have imagined before. Our resident Art Specialist, Shallal, will be creating clay medals to commemorate the start of the Commonwealth Games, and creating wonderful recycled collages to decorate your home. Shallal will also be conducting an experience based workshop, using recycled oil pastel shapes to create a team masterpiece! Last but not least, our delightful culinary assistant, Tamika, will be showing our budding little chefs how to create delicious bliss balls.
We welcome you with open arms and invite you to enjoy some quality time to “Pure Play” with your beautiful child! Click on the link to see – What’s On – Whatson-April-Calendar
