5 easy steps to book your party at NUBO -Alexandria.

  1. Pick your package – day time or after hours.
  2. Choose your preferred time slot.
  3. Have two options ready for your preferred party date.
  4. Choose your food options.
  5. Pay a deposit of $250 to secure your preferred date and time.

 

Party Time slots at NUBO – Alexandria.

Main slots: 9.30-11.30am, 12-2pm and 2.30-4.30pm

Café Table slots: 9.30-11.30am and 12.30-4.30pm

Additional slots: 10-12pm, 12.30-2.30pm and 2-4pm. These slots are subject to availability and can only be offered if the Party Rooms are not booked out for large parties.

 

Party spaces at NUBO – Alexandria.

Room A – Small size Party Room upstairs that can accommodate up to 10 kids plus 10 adults.

Room B– Medium size Party Room upstairs that can accommodate up to 17 kids plus 15 adults.

Room A + Room B– Large size Party Room upstairs that can accommodate up to 30 kids plus 28 adults.

Café Table – Marble table at the Café downstairs can accommodate up to 10 kids plus 10 adults.

 

Party Package 1: 

Party Duration: 2 hours.

Party Location: Party Room A, Party Room B, Party Room A+B and Café Table.

Space provided depending on the number of children expected at the party.

Exclusive use of the party space for 1.5 hours.

Decoration: One helium balloon per child, attached to the back of the chairs (children can take them home at the end of the party)

Party Tableware including table cover, plates, cups, cutlery and napkins provided.

Food: Kids food is included in the package – Sandwich platter, Fruit platter and Nudie juice popper per child.

• Price: $48.50 per child, 1 free adult per child, $10 per additional adult.
• Do Room (small room upstairs) – minimum spend $330, maximum capacity 10 kids.
• Imagine Room (medium room upstairs) – minimum spend $550, maximum capacity 17 kids.
• Do + Imagine (large room upstairs) – minimum spend $950, maximum capacity 30 kids.
• Café Party – minimum spend $320, maximum capacity 12 kids.
• Activities: Free play activities including story time in the library, art room activities, building room activities for all party & play customers.

Party Package 2: Exclusive party (After hours: 5.30-7.30pm)

Party Duration: 2 hours.

Party Location: Exclusive use of the entire centre for 2 hours.

Decoration: One helium balloon per child on weights around the Café area. (children can take them home at the end of the party)

Party Tableware including table cover, plates, cups, cutlery and napkins provided.

Food: Kids food is included in the package – Sandwich platter, Fruit platter and Nudie juice popper per child.

Adult food and drinks can be self-catered.

• Price: $68.50 per child, 2 free adults per child, $10 per additional adult.
• Minimum spend – $2,055 for 30 kids and 60 adults.
• Maximum capacity: Total of 190 people including children and adults.
• Activities: Free play in the centre and art workshop for 30 minutes in the art studio.

PARTY FOOD

Kids food is included in the party package – Sandwich platter, Fruit platter and Nudie juice popper per child.

You can choose 3 sandwich fillings out of the following options:

– Cheese

– Ham and Cheese

– Tomato and Cheese

– Vegemite

– Vegemite and Cheese

–  Chicken and Mayo

– Beef and chutney

– Jam

We are also able to do half sandwich and half pizza.

Pizza options include:

  • Margherita Pizza
  • Ham and Cheese Pizza

Adult food can be pre-ordered as party platters.

The platters offered as follows:

Sandwich Platter (assortment of the following fillings – coleslaw and pulled pork, roast beef and chutney and Mediterranean vegetarian) – $65, serves 12

Pastry Platter (assortment of muffins, croissants and Danish pastries) – $60, serves 10

Fruit Platter (assortment of fresh seasonal fruit) – $35, serves 12

Healthy Sweet Treats Platter (assortment of homemade banana bread, energy balls, muffins and granola cups) – $55, serves 10

 

Drinks and food can be ordered on the day of the party on a tab from the Café menu.

 

 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I bring the birthday cake?

Yes, you’re welcome to bring a nut-free birthday cake/cupcake.

Can we bring our own food and drinks?

Being an allergy aware centre, we request party customers to not bring their own food including lollies, chips etc. to the party.

After hours party customers can self-cater for parties.

We are not a licensed centre; no alcohol can be served in our premises.

Is the Marble table at the Café reserved for my party?

The Marble table is a party space and can be reserved for an additional fee of $320

How do I secure my party booking?

We require you to pay a deposit of $250 to confirm your party. You may do this by visiting NUBO or by paying over the phone.

Can we bring our own decorations?

At NUBO, we understand when parents want to personalise the party space.

We are able to provide 20-30 minutes before and after the party to set up and pack down. We do require you to let us know in advance.

Does the party package involve a party host?

We have party staff who will set up the party room, bring up the food, clean up after the party and make sure you and your guests have a great experience at NUBO. However, they do not stay in the party room and direct the kids or help with cake.

Is supervision of children provided?

Parents / carers must supervise their children at all times at the center. We do not encourage kids to be dropped off at parties.

Can the additional adult fee waived?

The birthday child’s parents and grandparents, one adult per child invited to the party and babies under 12 months are free to attend the party. We do charge $5 p/hr for additional adults ($10 in total) who come into the centre and this applies for parties as well.

Is it possible to extend my party at NUBO?

Yes, you’re welcome to stay longer and play before or after your party. It will be $15/ child for the additional hour. Adults will not be charged.
